Part of the General Motors Corporation, and produced and sold extensively in the United States, the Cadillac is a type of luxury car. And in the United States, the brand name of luxury cars has become a synonym for “high quality”. Indeed, for this reason, it has been used in some language and phrases such as “Cadillac of clocks”. Cadillac was founded by the Henry Ford Company, and the car was named after the 17th-century French explorer Antoine Laumet de La Mothe, Sieur de Cadillac, who was the founder of Detroit, Michigan in 1701.
One of the cars that go under the Cadillac name is the Cadillac Escalade. This car is a classic type of large Chevrolet / GMC SUV and is made available with three cutting levels – base SUV wagon, Escalade ESV wagon, and Escalade EXT truck. The acceleration of this vehicle is found to be adequate despite the occasionally delayed transfer to full-throttle downshifts. It has a towing capacity of 7,400 lbs. for 2WD Escalades, 8,100 lbs. on AWD models, as well as 7,300 EXT versions. It measures 13.7-15.6 mpg in the city or on the highway. The car could be quite awkward at times. It also looks like a truck. The Cadillac Escalade ESV models have a long wheelbase that provides good sound on rough roads. In terms of steering and vehicle handling, it is usually more dynamic and responds less to steering installation. It has a clear and vague direction that requires constant attention on the highway.
